Support staff are trained in the following areas:

  • Aspects of confidentiality 
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Emergency (fire, evacuation etc.) procedures
  • Medication Administration
  • Development of individualized Care and Support plans
  • Quality Assurance and Accountability

In addition to training, support staff have a minimum college diploma in a related field and positive reference validations along with a rigorous background check.

Support staff understand and are committed to the time, effort, creativity and diplomacy required to ensure the best possible care for the individuals in our care and their families. They continuously reflect on the fundamental values that encourage:
