Our Programs

Highly Personalized

With a maximum of four supported individuals in each home, our programs offer a highly personalized experience. Individualized behaviour support plans supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst are implemented using a high ratio of Direct Support Workers to supported individual.

Designed to Encourage Independence and Inclusion

We encourage each supported individual to make informed choices regarding the implementation of their support plan, and we ensure that they have the support they need to carry out their activities of daily living as independently as possible. Our programs promote social inclusion through participation in community activities such as volunteering, working and participating in local sports teams.

Structured and Consistent

Our programs provide structured routines (Daily Activity Schedules) and consistent supports that assist each individual in developing effective internal controls and coping mechanisms to help manage their emotional, social and behavioural functioning.

Operated to the Highest Standards

We prioritize the health, safety and dignity of the individuals that we support. We have a strong leadership team that includes Directors of Service, Program Managers, and Program Supervisors, all of whom have a clear mandate to comply with leading practices for the care and support of youth and adults with complex care needs.

We also have an experienced clinical team that includes Supervised Behaviour Technicians and highly trained Registered Behaviour Analysts who follow Standards of Conduct from the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.

Working closely with families and community agencies, we ensure that our Direct Support Workers receive the training, guidance and oversight required to provide the highest standard of care and support.

Our integrated team is committed to and passionate about creating an environment that is inclusive and inviting while delivering an experience that reflects our Cornerstones of Care and Service Principles.

We help people with complex special needs overcome barriers to fully participating in their community – supporting them on their journey to belonging.

Cornerstones of Care

Believing

We help each individual that we support believe in themselves. We encourage them to understand their personal strengths as a foundation for self-esteem and self-determination that enables them to pursue their goals.

Building

We help each individual that we support build their capabilities. Our integrated team of clinical and support staff encourages skill acquisition, behaviour reduction and other habits that underpin sustainable behaviour change.

Becoming

We help each individual that we support achieve their potential. We encourage them to set personal development goals, exercise greater independence and celebrate milestones recognizing who they are becoming.

Belonging

We help each individual that we support feel a stronger sense of belonging. We have established individualized programs that reflect each person’s needs and preferences, and we operate in small community-based homes that encourage interactions with others and with the broader community.
